Clint Eastwood tells it how it is at RNC

On August 30th 2012, actor and director Clint East wood spoke at the RNC, and he mad many good points while doing so. He brought up many points that are still fresh on the minds of Americans everywhere, such as unemployment. While most people in Hollywood are staunch supporters of the left, Mr. Eastwood showed that this isn't true of every actor and actress. He spoke with a style that could only come from Clint Eastwood himself which commanded respect and brought a very loud applause from those in the audience.

Mr. Eastwood made a comment about the unemployment that really speaks volumes "Now that is something to cry for because that is a disgrace, a national disgrace, and we haven't done enough, obviously. This administration hasn't done enough to cure that. Whatever interest they have is not strong enough, and I think possibly now it may be time for somebody else to come along and solve the problem." With so many people out of work, this sentiment is likely shared by many people, on both sides of the fence. Mr. Eastwood continues by questioning the presidents promises and how he handled those promises, stating the fact that even his supporters are disappointed by his failure to live up to some expectations.

While much of Mr. Eastwood's speech was serious, he did manage to throw a joke in at Joe Biden's expense. "Of course we all know Biden is the intellect of the Democratic party. Kind of a grin with a body behind it." The crowd seemed to be very energized and enthused by Clint Eastwood and his very entertaining speech. Hopefully the energy reflected at the RNC will be a foreshadow for what is to come in the elections this year.
