The body of Patrice Hyvert was finally found. This climber went missing 32 years ago and they never thought that the body would be recovered. On Wednesday, Huffington Post shared the news of the recovery of his body. Patrice went out on a nice vacation and was hiking at Mont Blanc in the Alps when he was never heard from again.

A few climbers were out enjoying their trip when they saw a corpse. Authorities were notified and they came out to retrieve the body and then find out who it was and what happened. He was last seen in March of 1982 and he was only 23-years-old at the time. The snow picked up while hew as out climbing and obviously something went wrong.

You would think that Patrice Hyvert's family would be glad to get some closure, but his dad was kind of sad they found his body. He spoke out about it saying, "I'm a mountain man, and I would have preferred him to stay up there. He was better on a mountain than in a coffin. He was in his element." It is expected that his parents will give him a proper burial now.

Softpedia shared that his body was actually trapped in ice when they found it. The body was starting to show up because of some melting in the area recently. If they had not had this melting, the body of Patrice Hyvert might have never been found by anyone. When he went missing, the snow was so bad that helicopters had to wait a few days to try to find him. He went hiking by himself and that is part of the problem. When Patrice ran into issues, there was nobody out there to save him.
