This past Monday, Veuve Clicquot hosted its annual Clicquot in the Snow event at The Standard High Line ice rink in the Meatpacking District. Celebrity guests in attendance included Padma Lakshmi, Peter Som, Ruffian designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, Amy Sacco, Peter Davis, Fiona Byrne, and Helen Lee Schifter. Guests enjoyed curling lessons courtesy of Norfolk Curling Club as well as ice skating on their own. Glasses of Veuve Clicquot were flowing throughout the night and an assortment of hors d’oeuvres such as truffle fries, fondue, mini burgers, tomato soup, and mini grill cheese sandwiches were also served.
Other added bonuses at the event included the opportunity to play life-size games of Jenga and to keep warm with Veuve Clicquot blankets. The event proved to be the perfect way to celebrate the winter season. Veuve Clicquot definitely knows how to throw a great party. Looking forward to next year’s celebration!
