Cleveland Shakespeare Festival postpones open mic

See also

Due to the inclement weather forecast for January 6th, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s regularly-scheduled meeting of the Open Mic Shakespeare reading group has been postponed until Monday, January 13.

For those unfamiliar with this gathering, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival meets on the first Monday of each month to explore the Bard's works as they were meant to be experienced - spoken aloud. The various characters are divided up, switching roles each act, so "each man in his time plays many parts".

The play for January is ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, an epic tale of the ancient world's most famous lovers, and an affair that nearly ripped apart the Roman Empire.

Cleveland Shakespeare Festival meets at 7:00 p.m. at the Negative Space Gallery and Cafe in the AsianTown plaza at E 38th and Superior. Park in lots B or C and come to the second floor of the building. Limited copies will be available, so please bring your own copy if you own one.

More information and the schedule for the next 6 months is available on the website or Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s Facebook events page.
