There is magic with just the right meal. Peppered with the love and passion of the cook, the flavors explode for thousands to enjoy. Culinary delights tempt the tastebuds and invite consumers back for more. Where is this delightful moment in a stressful day? In the heart of Fairview Park stems the savory scents from Dividio’s Italian Kitchen. The Italian delight was created from the hardworking hands of Sandra Krueger. A life-long entrepreneur from manufacturing, real estate and cuisine, Krueger discovered a missing portion in her life after the downturn of the real estate market in 2008,
A side business became mandatory. I love to entertain, and many people I know said I should try cooking for living. So, this side business seemed like a good addition to real estate since what I really love- is to cook and bake for people who enjoy food.
Krueger didn't just love Italian dishes, she was raised by an Italian mother who raised the family with gourmet meals and passion. Her mother's last name brands the business name and goals; to share a part of Italy with Ohioans. Krueger developed a knack to offer an affordable spin on Italian creations to provide the power of taste with a satisfied cost,
When I was growing up my mother, aunts and uncles did all the cooking and baking. I was transferred here over 20-years ago and I had to start cooking myself if I wanted to get that great food. And of course, as many cooks have, I put my own spin on many dishes and even do foods that I didn't get growing up. Mostly because many of those dishes were too expensive to make.
Krueger says there isn't one specific dish that stands out, because she loves to immerse in the variance of flavor and taste; but she does admit one particular weakness,
I’m really fond my Focaccia. I make it from scratch. It’s thick and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My basic Focaccia is made with fresh rosemary, garlic, pecorino Romano cheese, sea salt and of course, extra virgin olive oil.
Her customers have grown to adore and create their own favorite dishes, cooked from Dividio’s Italian Kitchen "I have customers that love many of my traditional dishes like Chicken Piccata, Lasagna, Veal Saltimboca. But I also have people who love my cakes. They are always made with high quality ingredients and no skimping on what’s in them. I make a Carrot Pineapple Cake with rum raisins."
Yes, Krueger is an avid baker, which adds a scrumptious ending to a satisfying meal. From tiramisu, a fresh berry tart, ricotta cake and so much more, Krueger immerses her love into every, single dish. Every dish cooked at Dividio’s Italian Kitchen, is handled by Krueger personally. This connects business, consumer, service and delicious happiness. The chef maintains only the freshest ingredients and shares she just really just "appreciates good food."
As the Holiday season is approaching, Krueger states she will be accepting orders as early as October. There will 10 various cookies created as part of the Dividio’s Italian Kitchen Holiday trays. The business is continuing to grow and Krueger is ecstatic to share her love and her tasty dishes with Ohio and beyond. As a local entrepreneur, Krueger shares insight for budding young chefs,
Beyond anything, you really have to love what you do. The business part you can learn but the passion is either there or it’s not. And that’s what keeps you going.
