Tonight is definitely going to be a good night for Cleveland (Ohio) fans of the Multi-platinum Grammy-nominated rock band, Fall Out Boy. The band is playing in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame city tonight at the Wolstein Center. Fall Out Boy just started their Arena Tour 2013 back on September 5th in Uncasville, CT and will run through the end of September.
Tonight's show starts at 7 pm, with Panic at the Disco and Twenty One Pilots as openers.
Fall Out Boy broke out of the underground music scene and hit mainstream success when they released their first studio album "From Under the Cork Tree" (2005) and would go on to release 3 more studio albums. All would bring huge success for the band, before their break to pursue side projects. Patrick Stump released a solo album "Soul Punk" (2011), Pete Wentz formed the band "Black Cards", while Hurley & Trohan formed "The Damn Things".
Having waited almost four years for the bands return, fans were elated when the band announced back on February 4, 2013, the end of their 3 year plus hiatus and also the release of a new album with a tour to soon follow. Fall Out Boy released their lead single off the new album "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" and the video to get fans pumped for the bands fifth studio album "Save Rock and Roll". Fall Out Boy, in the spring, would do a remix video that included the rapper 2 Chainz. The bands has been enjoying the singles success for awhile as it has reached number one in 28 countries, charted at number one on the Billboards charts and has over 2 million digital down loads to dates.
Fans would show their appreciation of the bands return by quickly snatched up copies of the new album and also tickets for the up coming tour, many dates are sold out. Fans can look forward to a 25 song set list that includes a mix of both older and newer material. Fans should also be on the look out tonight for gifts that are sometimes left by the band around the arena (if you follow the band on Instagram, the boys are posting pictures of clues of where the gifts, usually a shirt or poster are left. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and to also call or check the Wolstein Center website for information on "will call" pick up times and door times. There are still tickets left for tonight's show. Tickets range from $32-$36.00 plus tax and fees.
