Come check out the 21 replicas of some of the most ferocious (and loud) species that ever walked the earth all set in prehistoric environments. These prehistoric giants lurk throughout the transformed wooded path that travels around the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Waterfowl Lake.
This year’s exhibit features fifteen different species (six of which made their debut this summer) including Coelophysis, a speedy carnivore with jagged teeth, and Troodon, one of the first fossilized dinosaurs found in North America.
Guests will also meet the double-crested Dilophosaurus – the returning fan-favorite that sprays water on unsuspecting observers, the heavily armored Edmontonia, the spiny predator Acrocanthosaurus, the carnivorous giant Tyrannosaurus rex and many others, along with examples of juvenile dinosaurs and dinosaur nests.
Admission to Dinosaurs! is just $3.50 per person with regular Zoo admission, or $2 per person for Zoo members. Children younger than 2 are free.
Discount “Dinosaur!” tickets are available at all area Dave’s Markets.
