Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announces September 4, 2014 as ‘Seniors Safari Day’

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a great way for Senior citizens to get out and stay active. They can choose walking or riding to the various exhibits in the Zoo. On Thursday, September 4, 2014 the Zoo will be hosting “Senior Safari Day” with a collection of wellness activities, live entertainment, health exhibitors and more. What makes it special for Zoo guests 55 and older is that the entire day is free and includes admission to the Zoo and The RainForest. The Zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the activities running from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Take advantage of get close opportunities including lorikeet feeding in Australian Adventure and giraffe feeding in African Savanna. While there, keep an eye open for Adia, the baby giraffe, one of the Zoo's youngest residents.
