Most people who live in northeast Ohio enjoy the winter months as well as the summer. Over the years we have learned how to layer our clothing and to get out in to the fresh air for a winter walk. The Cleveland Metroparks thinks that this is a great idea and invite you to a variety of winter hikes.

Your furry friend deserves a chance to get out in the winter months and it will do you good to do the same. Bring your best friend to the park for a bit of winter exercise and socialization. The hike will be conducted on the wooded trails of the North Chagrin Reservation. Dogs are required to be on leash.

Just because its winter does not mean the birds have all but disappeared. Join other avid birders in searching the shores and forests around Lake Erie. Year round birds as well as those wintering here are to be found to the sharp eye. Some binoculars will be available to borrow.
