Learn essential skills for becoming a certified lifeguard through Cleveland Metroparks Aquatics Division.
The Aquatics Division is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguarding course on the following dates:
Tuesdays, May 17, 24 and 31
4 - 9 p.m.

Thursdays, May 19, 26 and June 2
4 - 9 p.m.

Rocky River Reservation
Learn skills to prevent and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, as well as prevent drowning and injuries in a pool and at a waterfront. There are specific swimming requirements to be accomplished to pass this 6-part class.
Participants must be ages 16 and up, and must attend all 6 classes. Registration through February 29, and a $190 fee are required. Space is limited.

And, Cleveland Metroparks Aquatics Division is hiring qualified Lifeguards, Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguard Supervisors for summer 2012 at the swimming areas of Cleveland Metroparks - Huntington Beach, WallaceLake, HinckleyLake and Ledge Pool.
