Cleveland Metroparks Aquatics Division Offers Red Cross Lifeguarding Course

Learn essential skills for becoming a certified lifeguard through Cleveland Metroparks Aquatics Division.

The Aquatics Division is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguarding course on the following dates:

Tuesdays, May 17, 24 and 31

4 - 9 p.m.

Lakewood High School Pool

Lakewood

Thursdays, May 19, 26 and June 2

4 - 9 p.m.

Park Operations

Rocky River Reservation

Learn skills to prevent and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, as well as prevent drowning and injuries in a pool and at a waterfront. There are specific swimming requirements to be accomplished to pass this 6-part class.

Participants must be ages 16 and up, and must attend all 6 classes. Registration through February 29, and a $190 fee are required. Space is limited.
