The new-look Cleveland Indians started their spring off right with a thrilling 11-10 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. With a brand new lineup and coaching staff there were plenty of issues to be worked out, but if one thing is certain, the team will certainly excite this season.

Cleveland got a stellar performance from their would-be starting lineup with each getting one to two at-bats for the spring opener. Newly acquired Nick Swisher made an immediate impact batting 1-2 with an RBI while anticipated starting third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall flexed his offensive muscle belting a two-run home run to give Cleveland a 7-5 lead in the third inning.
Utility man Ryan Raburn also homered for Cleveland. Rayburn came to Cleveland camp on a Minor League free agent deal after spending the last several seasons with the Detroit Tigers. He is trying to win one of the few utility spots available on the team.
The Indians will face the Reds again on Saturday starting at 3:05 p.m. EST.
