Prior to the actual 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction, which begins at 8pm, the Rock Hall will open its doors to all those interested. Admission will be free from 9am to 5:30pm on Saturday, April 14th. The newest exhibit, Grateful Dead: The Long, Strange Trip, just opened on April 12th and offers new memorabilia, music, and history to entice even the most seasoned Rock Hall visitor and each and every Grateful “Deadhead” fan. This week also hosted the grand opening of the Rock Hall’s Library and Archives, which offers on-going access to the means to research all things music.

It’s been an exciting week for the world of music this week, and all attention is focused on Cleveland, Ohio. Even if you are not taking part in any of the Induction activities, it is a time to celebrate the deep history and continuing legacy of great music in Cleveland.
