Kyrie Irving scored 26 points on the night as the Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Denver Nuggets by the score of 111-103 on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. With the loss the Cavaliers fall to 16-35 on the season while the Nuggets improve to 33-18.

Irving led the Cavaliers in scoring with 26 points, six rebounds, and seven assists while Alonzo Gee added 20 points in the Cavaliers’ losing effort. Off the bench Wayne Ellington added 13 points and five rebounds to lead the Cleveland reserves.
The Nuggets showed a solid team effort with eight players scoring in double digits. Danilo Gallinari led the squad with 19 points followed by Kenneth Faried with 17. Andre Iguodala added 14 points while JaVale McGee added 13 points off the bench to lead the reserves.
The Cavaliers will have a day of rest on Sunday before the Minnesota Timberwolves roll into town on Monday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
