Irving scored 22 points while Alonzo Gee recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Tristan Thompson grabbed 13 boards to pair with his nine points and Dion Waiters added 20 points off the bench to round out Cleveland’s top performances.

Sacramento was led by a fine performance by center DeMarcus Cousins who scored 18 points while grabbing 16 rebounds and Jason Thompson who logged 19 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Aaron Brooks led the bench effort with 13 points on 6-10 shooting from the field.

Coming into the game Sacramento was just 1-13 on the road. At the same time Cleveland has won more contests on the road (4) than they have at the Q (3). It should be no surprise the contest was a nail-biter until the very end.
