Cleveland Cavaliers recap: Boozer’s 24 help Chicago Bulls rout Cavs 118-92

Carlos Boozer scored 24 points and grabbed 11 boards as the Chicago Bulls defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by the score of 118-92 on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. With the loss Cleveland falls to 8-28 on the season while Chicago improves to 19-13.

Dion Waiters led Cleveland in scoring with 18 points off the bench while Kyrie Irving and C.J. Miles both added 15 points in the Cavaliers losing effort. Tristan Thompson contributed 14 points and eight rebounds in a tough night for the Cavs.

In addition to Boozer’s outstanding performance, Luol Deng scored 19 points while Taj Gibson added 18 in a game Chicago controlled for the majority of the second half.

“(The Bulls) just have our number. They feel very confident and comfortable playing against us and from a physical standpoint, they’re just much more physical and aggressive than we are right now.” Coach Byron Scott stated after the game.

The outcomes and responses seem to be the same after every game as of late.
