Selby was acquired in the Jan. 22 trade with the Memphis Grizzlies that also brought forward/center Marreese Speights and guard Wayne Ellington to the team in exchange for forward Jon Leuer.

Selby has appeared in 10 games for the Grizzlies this season averaging 2.0 points in 5.9 minutes per game. He has appeared in two games for the NBADL Reno Bighorns averaging 22.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in 34.0 minutes per game.

Due to NBA paperwork, the trade was not finalized until Thursday. Neither Speights nor Ellington have been able to practice and will not play in Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
