Cleveland Boxing Invitational comes to Tower City in November

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission announced last week that they will host the first annual Cleveland Boxing Invitational on November 14 from Tower City Center in Downtown Cleveland.

The 10 bout fundraising event will feature collegiate boxers from Michigan, Michigan State, Miami of Ohio and West Virginia University. Proceeds from the event will go to the Sports Commission.

In a press release issued by the Commission, President and CEO David Gilbert said, “The Cleveland Boxing Invitational will be a fun and exciting event for the Cleveland business community and alumni of the four participating schools, while also serving as an important fundraiser for our organization. The funds raised at this event will allow us to continue to bring extremely impactful sporting events to Cleveland. We are eager to provide an incredibly unique experience for all in attendance and the competing boxers.”

Ticket options include: $100 for individual tickets which includes food and an open bar providing beer and soda; $1000 for the ‘Welterweight Table’. Includes a reserved table for 10, food and an open bar providing beer and soda; $1500 for the ‘Heavyweight Table’. Includes a reserved ringside table for 10, food and an open bar providing beer and soda.
