Clementine to open in Highlandtown

Clementine, the popular restaurant in Hamilton, will open its first spin off location in the Creative Alliance in Highlandtown/Canton. The space is currently occupied by a bar that faces Eastern Avenue. The bar, known as Marquee Lounge, is only open on weekends and has a limited and sporadic food menu. The space is small and has a lot of street frontage. Although the new Clementine spin off space will be smaller than the current Clementine location, it will not be that much small than the original restaurant prior to its recent renovations. The new restaurant will be more upscale than the current location, but it will feature the same farm to table type food. It will house seating for 49.

Bmoremedia.com reports that the Creative Alliance and Clementine had discussed the idea of a partnership four years ago, but the space ultimately proved too small for Winston Blick, owner of Clementine.
