Leading publisher Telltale Games has officially announced The Walking Dead: Season Two. The Walking Dead game became an instant hit and favorite for many gamers who are fans of the television show and comics. The game has had more than 21 million episodes sold so far.
The Walking Dead: Season Two will be a continuation to the original story, picking up where the first game left off. You will take on the world as Clementine, fighting for survival against the hordes of undead. Like the first game, the player experience will depend heavily on their actions and choices as they affect the story across the series.
Dan Connors, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games said, "Today we can finally lift the veil, albeit only a little, on how this story will continue, and we'll soon be putting players in the shoes of a lead role that will challenge their expectations of how to survive in a world where no one can be trusted."
An official release date for the game has not yet been revealed, however, the title is expected to hit later this year. The Walking Dead: Season Two will consist of five episodes that will release over the course of the season and will conclude in 2014. Each episode will be available as a digital download.
The Walking Dead: Season Two will make it's debut later this year for PC/Mac, home consoles and iOS. PC/Mac users will be able to access all five episodes for $22.49 USD when they pre-order the season pass through Steam or the Telltale Online Store.
