Tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, 2014, Northland Rosarium is holding Clematis Day. At 10:00 a.m. and every hour thereafter until 5:00 p.m. they will give away a free clematis. Stop by the nursery today to enter the raffle. Any clematis purchased on June 14 will be at 10% discount. Also, all perennials will be on sale for buy two, get one free (of equal or lesser value).

The day starts at 9:00 a.m. when Phyllis Hathaway will give a tour of the garden and talk about how roses and clematis grow happily together. At 10:00 a.m., Debbie Fischer, owner of Silver Star Vinery in Yacolt, WA, will give a presentation on clematis. This event will be held in the studio. A 1:00 p.m., Rosarium owner Carol Newcomb will lead a tour of the rose garden, talking about the history of the nursery, some of the roses, hydrangeas and clematis, and answering questions. The garden is coming into bloom now and is gorgeous!

Note: The nursery has stopped shipping orders for the year. If you want to buy some of their gorgeous roses, you will need to do so at the nursery.
