Clearing skies and warmer temperatures to end the workweek in Clarksville

The clouds that have been over the Clarksville area will begin to break up today as high pressure builds back in. Temperatures today will still be below average with highs in the upper 40s. A warm-up is expected as this area of high pressure will remain over the area as temperatures will be in the middle fifties on Friday, and into the sixties for the weekend. Mainly sunny skies are also expected as well as the temperatures rise. By the end of the day Sunday into Monday, a frontal system is expected to move through the region bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms once again. This system will also cause temperatures to fall back to slightly below average for the beginning of the upcoming workweek.
