Drier air moving in from the NE with a back door cold front will bring slightly less humid air over the next few days with more sunshine and some afternoon clouds. Only the risk a an isolated storm exist through Tuesday mainly SW. Temps will stay on the warm to hot side with highs in the upper 80s NE to near 90 SW. Overnight lows will dip into the 60s with lower humidity and occasional patchy fog cannot be ruled out. Wednesday brings a cold front that will give the region the next best shot of showers and storms. Behind this front a brief break will be felt with lower humidity and temps in the lower 80s both Thursday and Friday. Over the Labor day weekend it now appears that the front that settles South of the region has the possibility to move back North and bring returned humidity and scattered storms.
