A ridge of higher pressure has moved over the Clarksvile area today bringing mostly sunny skies to the region. Temperatures will remain cool though, as high temperatures today will be in the lower forties. A strong system will move into the region Monday afternoon and evening causing clouds to increase and breezy conditions to develop. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight Monday as this system passes through. Scattered showers will continue to fall during the day Tuesday as cooler air moves into the region. By nightfall Tuesday, some of the rain showers are expected to mix with snow, but no snow accumulation is expected at this time.
