The CEO of Clear Channel who founded MTV a few generations ago recently added an interesting new addition to the Clear Channel headquarters in New York City - "a mist tunnel."
Supposedly the ultimate status symbol for an executive in the music business, the Clear Channel mist tunnel is located in a hallway that leads to the corporate offices' front desk on West 55th Street. While the mist tunnel doesn't have a cooling or humidifying effect, it is said to be a low-cost presentation that projects the logo of clients and appeases potential advertisers.
What are your thoughts? Is this trivial news? A bad or good investment for the multi-media giant Clear Channel, owned by Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital, said to be roughly $21 billion debt? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
