Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Synopsis,
Clear skies and light winds from the NE will cause temps to fall into the lower and middle 40s overnight. The front that moved SW to day will slowly move back NE tomorrow late in the day. Winds will eventually switch SE bringing milder and more humid air by Monday. Tomorrow however will be about 5 to 10 degrees cooler than today due to a predominantly NE wind. Late tomorrow night and especailly Monday afternoon showers and thunderstorms will move NE and bring a small threat for severe weather as these storms will be weakening into a more stable air mass over our region. However a much larger threat for severe storms looks likely late Monday night and Tuesday as there could be damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain. Tornadoes are not out of the question. How much instability and timing is all key factors in types and strength of severe storms during this time period. More information will be available in the days to come, stay tuned. Either outcome heavy rainfall looks likely. Following the storms a a cold front will move through by Wednesday bringing cooler air. The low will become cut off from the jet stream and linger with spokes of energy rotating around it there will be several chances for rain showers all the way through the first weekend of May.

Long range:
More active weather looks likely to follow the following week with chances for showers and storms.
