Classy Oscars marred by crude banter

The Oscars ceremony for 2013 was full of classy performances with its music in cinema theme. Unfortunately Seth MacFarlane's boring bantering script with crass, crude, derogatory jokes brought portions of the Oscars ceremony to its lowest levels. The robotic teddy bear with Mark Wahlberg with sexual jokes coming out of its mouth (with children in the audience) was another low point. These were periods in the ceremony for the mute button. Fortunately, the visual spectacle and moving music won the day.

The performance by Cast of Les Miserables was a Highlight! In Memoriam was beautiful and classy!
