If you've been on the fence about getting a Playstation 3 and have been waiting for the right time and the right bundle to pick up, you might be in luck. Originally Sony hadn't stated if their newest PS3 bundle would be coming stateside, thankfully they've decided to make the bundle available to everyone, not just Canada.
The "Classic White PS3 Instant Game Collection Bundle", which just rolls right off the tongue, is officially getting released here in the states. Of course the biggest deal to this bundle is the Playstation 3 being white, classic white too, which means they had a newer white they'd rather not talk about.
Not only do you get the Classic White PS3, but it's got a 500GB hard drive built it, and will ship with a full year of Playstation Plus membership for the low price of $300. The price, with the hard drive size and Playstation Plus membership makes this quite the steal, even though it doesn't come with any games.
The upside to having the PS+ membership and big hard drive is that the service gives away plenty of retail games, not just mini-games or arcade games, but full blown retail games. Sony didn't need to include any boxed games with this bundle thanks to it's paid service offering so much.
The new Classic White PS3 Instant Game Collection Bundle (whew!) will be available to everyone on January 27, 2013.
