A girl (Ellen Page) comes home to her boyfriend (Andy Samberg) and enthuses on and on about the Mellissa Ethridge concert she just went to:

Boy: Marni, did you go gay at that concert?
Girl: Gay? No way!...I dont really know what you mean by gay, though.
Boy: I dunno, like ladies having sex with each other, gay.
Girl: I'm so like an oil lamp that's never been lit. And now I'm finally burning bright with sister fire...

Boy: You so went gay at that concert.
Girl: Why does everything have to have a friggin label? Why cant I just hug a woman with my legs in friendship? (she says, sitting with her legs wide open, as if they were wrapped around a woman's head)
Boy: You are like a primo lesbian now.
Girl: Well, what is lesbian, though, really, come on?
Boy: I dunno, you and another woman sucking face with no bras on and not because it's my birthday?
Girl: It's not like that, Nico! (repeatedly kissing his face as she speaks) I just really ache to have deeper relationships with the women in my life, especially the tall one that was standing right next to me with the dark, shiny ponytail. And she had these legs, and they were all brown and they were--
Boy: Marni, this might just be a phase.
Girl: Like a permanent phase?
Boy: If it turns out that you're a real lez, then I'll go gay too and we can still live together.
Girl: You're the best!
Boy: So are you.
(They embrace.)
