Right now you can find classic boots on the clearance rack at Bloomingdale’s Shoe Salon in Perimeter Mall.
This same Bloomingdale’s is set to close their doors permanently at this location within the next few weeks. The AJC reported on January 4, 2012 that the Perimeter Bloomingdale’s is one of four stores across the country going out of business due to sales not meeting expectations.
Speculation regarding a Bloomingdale’s Going out of Business Sale is high. However, a recent tour of the Perimeter location revealed that the customers are not finding the big bargains they anticipated with the sale.
Still, the Bloomingdale’s Shoe Salon was packed on a Sunday afternoon as shoppers tried on the various shoes on discount. The boot selection showed markdowns on classic riding boots from Coach and Sam Edelman. These boots are the sturdy and made to last with leather material. The markdowns on Coach Boots were about 30 percent off the regular price. For example, a pair of Joele Smooth Nappa boots by Coach was on clearance for 259.99 from the regular price of 348.00. For the best deal you should keep checking out the Perimeter location. As it gets closer to the time to close the doors the sales are expected to show bigger markdowns.
