St. Louis Children’s Hospital is offering classes at Progress West Health Care Center in St. Charles County. St. Louis Children’s Hospital has come to the neighborhood, offering events and classes that can make your family more prepared, healthier, and happier.
Babysitting 101 is an introduction to the basics of babysitting. The business side of babysitting is included among the topics discussed. Other topics will help those attending gain a better understanding of child development, safety, first-aid, and fun & games. A 28 page workbook and a light snack will be provided to all who take the class. There is a $24 fee.

The following CPR class is offered to parents, grandparents, and anyone who is responsible for the care of a child. Teens, age 10 to 15 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. This class will involve hands on instruction and practice in infant, child, and adult CPR as well as first aid for choking. There is a fee of $25 for all who attend.
