In what could possibly be the worst case of premature explosion ever, an al-Qaeda terrorist commander unwittingly detonated the object of the day's lesson in bomb making, killing and wounded nearly two score of his fellow Islamic jihadists, as reported by The New York Times on Feb. 10, 2014.

In the embattled province of Anbar in the west of the nation, Iraqi police and army officials have announced that twenty two members total of the al-Qaeda regional franchisee The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), sometimes referred to as The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), were killed as a yet to be identified local cell commander accidentally ignited an improvised suicide belt during a class he was giving on the proper care, maintenance and construction of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

An additional fifteen ISIS members were reportedly wounded in the one-time-only classroom malfunction involving the explosives packed weapon.

According to Iraqi officials, the kerplatted commander was also a terrorist recruiter of some renown.

Yet an anonymous Iraqi Army officer did give more-than-slightly sarcastic praise to the inept instructor, thanking him for being "able to kill the bad guys for once."
