Class C 2014 girls basketball tournament schedule

The Calais Blue Devils and Orono Red Riots girls basketball teams enter the class C tournament as the top two seeds.

Narraguagus, Dexter, and Houlton also have earned a trip to the quarterfinals.

Mattanawcook, PCHS, and George Stevens will play home prelim games with a trip to Cross Insurance Center on the line.

Dexter and Houlton will be the 4/5 quarterfinal match-up.

Houlton earned the trip to the quarterfinals by winning five of their last six regular season games.

Here is a look at the class C girls tournament schedule.

Prelims- Tuesday, February 11th

  • G1 - #9 Washington Academy 43 (7-11) @ #8 George Stevens 32 (9-9)- 6 p.m.
  • G2- #11 Lee 34 (8-10) @ #6 Mattanawcook 54 (9-9)-7 p.m.
  • G3- #10 Sumner 57 (7-11) @ #7 PCHS 72 (10-8)- 6 p.m.

Quarterfinals- Tuesday, February 18th @ Cross Insurance Center

  • G4- #4 Dexter 36 (13-5) VS #5 Houlton 38 (12-6)- 2:05 p.m.
  • G5- Washington Academy 35 VS #1 Calais 55 (16-2)- 3:35 p.m.

Quarterfinals- Wednesday, February 19th @ Cross Insurance Center

  • G6- Mattanawcook 46 VS #3 Narraguagus 40 (15-3)- 9:35 a.m.
  • G7- PCHS 29 VS #2 Orono 40 (17-1)- 11:05 a.m.

Semifinals- Friday, February 21st @ Cross Insurance Center

  • G8- Houlton 29 VS Calais 53-
  • G9- Mattanawcook 31 VS Orono 47

Regional final- Saturday, February 22nd @ Cross Insurance Center

  • G10- Calais 49 VS Orono 30 - 7:05 p.m.

State title- Saturday, March 1st @ Augusta Civic Center

  • G11-Calais VS Carrabec - 7:05 p.m.
