The Old Town Coyotes girls basketball team defeated Ellsworth 48-31 in the season opener on December 7th at Old Town high school.
Ellsworth defeated Old Town 57-46 at Ellsworth high school on January 2nd.
The Coyotes and Eagles will go at it Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Old Town high school.
The winner advances to play the Presque Isle Wildcats Saturday at 3 p.m.
In other class B girls prelim games- MDI (16-2) will host Caribou (4-14).
MDI won the two regular season match-ups by an average of 34 points.
Washington Academy (8-10) will travel to Belfast (13-5) for a 6 p.m. tip.
The Lions have impressive wins over Oceanside and Nokomis this season. The Raiders have lost four straight.
Camden Hills (12-6) will host Hermon (9-9).
The Windjammers have won four of their last five. The Hawks are 5-9 against teams that qualified for tourney play.
Gardiner (14-4) will host Winslow (6-12).
The Black Raiders defeated Gardiner 45-44 on January 5th.
