Class A 2014 boys basketball tournament schedule

The Hampden Broncos boys basketball team dominated during the regular season and earned the number one seed in the class A tournament.

Brunswick and Oxford Hills were the only teams that gave the Broncos a challenge during the regular season.

Bangor will play Oxford Hills in a quarterfinal game. Bangor won 51-49 in their regular season contest.

Lawrence will travel to Lewiston for a prelim game. The Bulldogs won 68-65 when they traveled to Lewiston during the regular season.

Here is a look at the class A boys tournament schedule

Prelim- Wednesday, February 12th

  • G1- #9 Lawrence 40 (8-10) @ #8 Lewiston 44 (8-10)-6:30 p.m.

Quarterfinals- Saturday, February 15th- @ Augusta Civic Center

  • G2- #3 Bangor 41 (13-5) VS #6 Oxford Hills 44 (11-7)- 4 p.m.
  • G3- #2 Brunswick 73 (13-5) VS #7 Mt. Ararat 54 (7-11)- 5:30 p.m.

Quarterfinals- Monday, February 17th @ Augusta Civic Center

  • G4- #4 Messalonskee 57 (13-5) VS #5 Edward Little 68(11-7)- 8:30 a.m..
  • G5- Lewiston 47 VS #1 Hampden 85 (18-0)- 1 p.m.

Semifinals- Wednesday, February 19th- @ Augusta Civic Center

  • G 6- Oxford Hills 61 VS Brunswick 58- 7:30 p.m.
  • G7- Edward Little 49 VS Hampden 67- 9 p.m..

Regional final- Friday, February 21st- @ Augusta Civic Center

  • G8- Oxford Hills 54 VS Hampden 82 - 8:45 p.m.

State final- Saturday, March 1st- @ Cumberland County Civic Center, Portland

  • G9- Hampden VS Portland- 7 p.m.
