On Saturday, Kelly Clarkson and her talent manager husband announced that they welcomed their beautiful baby girl on June 12th via twitter. They were able to keep it a secret until they were ready to share the news. The pop singer and her husband named her River Rose. They have had the unique name picked out since earlier this year. They were keeping this name whether it would have been a boy or a girl. No other details were included in the tweet. They are ecstatic over the new edition to their family.
The American Idol alum had a very difficult pregnancy. She has had bouts of severe vomiting. She announced in November 2013 that they were expecting. In January the couple revealed that they were in fact having a baby girl. Clarkson attributed the constant vomiting to having a girl. CNN shared that Clarkson said "Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes!. Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :).” She expressed her feelings of wanting a baby only a few months after marrying her husband. She wants many children.
This is the couple's first child together. Blackstock, whose step-mom is country singer Reba McEntire, has two children from a previous marriage. Savannah is 12-years-old and Seth is 8-years-old. Clarkson enjoys being step-mom to the two children. She enjoys to be with them. According to US Weekly, Clarkson said "I want two kids. Two more, that is."

On January 2014 Clarkson revealed that she had prepared songs for her new album and that the recording would start soon. She also said that her new album could possibly be released at the end of 2014. She may be delayed on recording since the birth of her daughter has become her number one priority.
