According to Entertainment Weekly on Aug. 19, Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Level 7 Access" showed footage of Clark Gregg discussing the revival of Agent Phil Coulson. The video was one of ABC's additional character profiles of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Gregg seems to be amazed himself that Coulson lives.
The video shows a humorous side to the show when Agent Coulson steps out of the darkness stating to the new recruit, "Welcome to level seven!" That being said, the character seemed to justify his flare for the dramatic by following up that statement with:
"Sorry that corner was really dark and I couldn't help myself".
Later in the video, Coulson could be spotted more displaying dry humor, his rather subtle evasion of danger, and passion for the love of his life, Lola. Continued footage that already been presented included a super hero they had spotted jumping out of a building with a victim and hitting the ground considerably hard enough to create a pothole that would probably put a dent in the city's budget.
Previous ABC character profiles included those of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents May, Grant Ward, Fitz, and Simmons.
Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" premieres on ABC this Tuesday, Sept. 24.
