On January 9, the embargo on special content from the various editions of ‘City of Lost Souls’ was lifted allowing author Cassandra Clare to share its content online. She first shared “A Question of Power,” a short story from Target’s first edition of the fifth book in The Mortal Instruments series. Now she shares, from Costco’s special edition, “The Act of Falling.” This short story tells the alley scene from Jace’s perspective.
Fans can look forward to seeing more special content in the days to follow as Clare makes them available. 2013 is a big year for The Mortal Instruments series as the first book; ‘City of Bones’ movie adaptation will debut this August.
