Civil War re-enactment at Picacho Peak, Arizona

Civil War in Arizona? Well, yes, there was a battle just south of Phoenix.

Each year hundreds of spectators descend on Picacho Peak State Park to watch re-enactments of an Arizona Civil War skirmish and the New Mexico battles of Glorieta and Val Verde. This year's event takes place March 16th and 17th, 2013.
