CityPlace holds Family Funfest events every month on the second Sunday and. on Sunday, October 13 students, staff, and families from Conniston Middle School participating in some of the highlighted activities for the day. One of the prominent events is the school’s presentation of an interactive math and science activity known as Clay City.
Over at the CityPlace Family FunFest October 13, Conniston Middle School’s crew will build a three-dimensional model city by shaping wet clay. The completed project will be brought back to the school to display as a community math and science -based art project.
In addition to showing off science and math prowess, Conniston Middle students will be performing music, miming, and mini-skits. Attendees will be able to design and take-home a fall- themed mask as part of a “make and take” activity. Face-painting, a pumpkin patch and spooky bounce house are also on the itinerary. Special treats will be provided by all participants at the West Palm Beach Family FunFest in City Place. The event is scheduled for 1:00-4:00 p.m. and appears will be a time of excitement and fun for all that attend.
