A body was found inside the trunk of a burned out car off of Camp Creek Parkway in southwest Atlanta.
And the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday ruled the death a homicide. But they are still trying to determine the identity of the body.
The man’s body was discovered around 12:45 p.m. Thursday at 3540 North Camp Creek Pkwy., according to Atlanta police.
Police said city workers were inspecting water sheds and storm drains around when they found burned car.
Upon further investigation, a body was discovered in the trunk of the car.
Officers said that the body was badly burned. It’s unclear how long it has been in the trunk and police have not released any details on who may have owned the car.
The road on which the car and body were found is an access road, used and maintained by the City of Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News.
