'City in the Sky': New 'Bioshock Infinite' trailer

The latest Bioshock Infinite trailer entitled 'City in the Sky', launched on January 30th and has really given fans more to stew on until its coming release on March 30th.

In the trailer, we learn a little more about Booker and why he's part of the City in the Sky's grand scheme, as well as a bit more on the world within. Like the other trailers in the Bioshock Infinite playlist that focus on certain elements to be seen, this trailer focuses on the city and the story.

The trailer opens to a bright and vivacious sky, and an overview of the "downtown" area of the city. "Where are we?" asks Booker to an unseen guide. "Heaven -- or as close we'll see until judgement day."

Handyman, our soon-to-be Infinite version of the Big Daddy, is being paraded as a sort of sideshow freak, while Booker takes his first swig of a plasmid -- we [briefly] take a peaceful tour of the city before its inevitable fall from grace. By the time robo-George Washington appears, the walls around Booker and Elizabeth begin to shatter entirely.

"What am I?" asks Elizabeth, as she tears open a painting and walking into another breathing world. Soon, we see Songbirds swoop down on a chaotic scene as splicers run at Booker. "I won't let you take her!" shouts Booker at crowd of splicers.

At the end of the trailer, we are left with the most thought provoking line: "Bring us the girl, we'll wipe away the debt." The voice matches that of the one introducing Booker to his new world at the beginning of the trailer, leaving us with many new questions. Who does that mysterious voice belong to? No, Elizabeth, really -- What are you? Why and how does Booker seem to have a debt owed to these people?

Bioshock Infinite will be available on March 26th for PlayStation 3, XBOX 360, and the PC.
