Just five days after beginning its Kickstarter campaign, Missing Worlds Media’s "City of Titans" has surpassed its funding goal of $320,000. So far over 2,300 people have contributed to the campaign, in amounts as little as $1 all the way up to $7,500. At press time, the "City of Titans" Kickstarter had generated more than $350,000, meaning that the first of three stretch goals (porting the game's avatar builder to the Android OS) has also been met.
With 27 days left in the Kickstarter campaign, the "City of Titans" developers are understandably enthusiastic about the outpouring of support. In an update posted today after hitting the $320,000 mark, "City of Titans" Project Lead Chris Hare said, "We’re just awestruck sitting here behind the curtain. And we’re working as fast as we can. Someday, we hope to be worthy of the trust you've placed in us. I've placed my name and reputation on it."
Hare also promised to release videos, profiles of "City of Titans" NPCs, and a tour of the game's planned infrastructure in the near future.
