City of Norcross announcement

Public relations manager for the city, Tixie Fowler, reported this morning that the city administrative offices will be closed today but all emergency crews are staffed and available.

Additionally, tonight's city council meeting has been cancelled.

Most of Norcross saw an average of 5-6 inches of snow overnight shutting down most activities because of icy conditions. The weather forecast for the afternoon has a mix of light freezing rain with more icing. With a high of 28 degrees predicted and a low of 27 degrees overnight, there won't be any thawing. There could be an additional 1 inch of snow accumulation during the day.
