City of Dallas tree lighting ceremony is November 19 with freebies and discounts

City Lights is back to kick off the start of the holiday season in Downtown Dallas with the official tree lighting ceremony beginning on Saturday November 19th at Main Street Garden.

Festivities begin from 6 to 10 PM where you can enjoy an outdoor market, face painting, ornament making, music, discounts at local restaurants, street vendors, food trucks, special local retailers events and of course photos with Santa.

The official tree is 65 feet tall and will be lighted by 10,000 lights and will include a finale from Santa himself.  Another fantastic light show will be available at the AT&T Plaza at 208 South Akard Street where at 7:45 PM, they will be having a spectacular light show display.
