City Manager's last day set.

Andy Souza, Fresno City Manager for the past five years, will officially resign on Monday Feb. 1st, after announcing he will leave office Dec 9th. Assistant City Manager Bruce Rudd, who was recently hospitalized and has since been released after collapsing at City Hall during a break from a meeting, will serve as interim City Manager until a permanent replacement is named.

Mayor Ashley Swearingen made a statement saying that the new city manager will be named next week.

Fresno City Manager Andy Souza has been a city employee for twenty five years.
