To satisfy the demi-gods of this website, I'll just state this: if you haven't seen any Orson Welles movies, let alone Citizen Kane, then immediately get off this website and go watch it.

So much praise over the years, but it is so well-deserved: a visual dissection of a man burdened by greatness and ruined by pride in Charles Foster Kane.

From performances like Orson Welles and Dorothy Comingore, to the lighting, the camera angles, the musical score, all the individual details melding together into this amazing debut.

It might seem hyperbolic, but it's true: this is the single greatest film of all time, and maybe the most important, too.
