The 2010 U.S. Championships aren't yet in the books, but fans who live near St. Paul, Minn. or St. Louis, Mo., should already be getting excited for the next two years.
USA Gymnastics announced Thursday that St. Paul will be hosting the 2011 U.S. Championships AUg. 17-20, 2011. St. Louis will host the all-important 2012 Championships June 6-9, 2012, which will be essential for determining the five men and women who will represent the U.S. at the London Olympics.
Both cities have held the championships before. St. Paul last hosted the meet in 2006, while St. Louis was the site of the 2000 U.S. Championships. The 2009 U.S. Championships were held in Dallas, Texas, while this year's meet, which gets underway next Wednesday, is being hosted in Hartford, Conn.

Why don't they ever host meets here in Seattle? It's rediculous. The last one I even remember USA Gymnastics hosting that was a major meet is the 1995 American Cup... What's up with that?
I actually appreciate the idea of being in the midwest, easier travel for most to travel to a central location. But I do agree it is important to show face around the country.
