Cissy Houston slams 'Houstons' reality series, portrayal of Bobbi Kristina

Cissy Houston is not happy with the way her family, specifically her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina, was portrayed on "The Houstons: On Our Own." Speaking out Friday, the mother of the late Whitney Houston said "oh please" when asked about the reality series.

"I didn't like the way Krissy (Bobbi Kristina) was portrayed in a lot of instances," Houston shared with "Oprah's Next Chapter" Friday.

As previously reported, Houston has sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an interview that will air in full Monday, Jan. 28. In addition to discussing "The Houstons: On Our Own" and her family, Houston will also discuss portions of her new book, "Remembering Whitney."

Following the release of a few excerpts, Houston says she heard that her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina, did not want the book written nor released.

"That's what I heard," Cissy Houston shares with Oprah in video below. "I guess somebody told her something. I don't know."

Cissy Houston's full interview with Oprah Winfrey will air on "Oprah's Next Chapter," which will air at a special time Monday, Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. on OWN.
