The Maccioni family, Chef Alfio Longo will be offering the "Sagra del Cavolo Nero" Four-Course Menu from Monday, March 17th through Friday, March 21st for lunch and dinner at Circo in Midtown, Manhattan.
Cavolo also known as black kale or black cabbage is a winter favorite from Tuscany, Italy. Its bitter, pleasantly tangy and sweet aftertaste is the perfect ingredient for slow-cooked winter dishes. This 4 course meal will cost $49 per person (excluding tax, tips, and beverages).
The unique seasonal menu is highlighted by the many variety of black kale served dishes such as the hand made pumpkin gnocchi, a classic Tuscan Potage and Wagyu Beef cheek.
