The play, set during the Depression, centers around an African-American family torn between keeping an old piano that represents their heritage or selling it and using the money to make a new start. Tamiko Robinson and Rashad “thaPoet” Rayford will star as dueling sister and brother Berniece and Boy Willie, along with a stellar cast that includes Adarian Lherisson (Lymon), Joel Diggs (Doaker), Shawn Whitsell (Avery), Elliott Robinson (Wining Boy), Fiona (Grace) and Jordynne Tucker (Maretha), all of whom have graced numerous Nashville stages.
